Lacertian world was the first game I made. I had many ideas for the first game, but I still decided to make a platformer. I immediately came up with the idea that the main character would be a lizard with a long tongue and tenacious paws.

  Having chosen the genre and the main character, I started working on the mechanics and at the same time looking for ready-made graphic assets. Work on the game began somewhere in the middle of March this year. At first, I had no idea what the game would look like. Only 3 months later, in June, I came up with the name and style of the game. A month later, I posted Lacertian world on itch.io.

  The stage of constant improvement and change of the game began. This stage lasted until the release of Lacertian world 0.3.0.0. This version did not add everything I wanted, but it was the last. In the end, although I enjoyed working on Lacertian world. It turned out to be a failure. I am glad that at least someone downloaded and played Lacertian world. But I do not see the point in continuing to develop the game. Statistics:

  Despite the very small numbers, I'm glad that Lacertian World was downloaded, devlogs and walkthroughs were watched. But I still gained experience in creating a game, devlogs and other content. After finishing work on Lacertian World, I started creating a new project. Soon I will tell you about my new game. In working on it, I will try to avoid the mistakes that I made in Lacertian world.
